The position will provide instrumentation/control systems technical maintenance and
general support to the Plant Manager. This power station is north of Auckland.
The key areas of focus will include:
_ Implementation of site improvement projects
_ Ongoing development of instrument maintenance strategies
_ Plant shutdowns and execution
_ Scheduling of maintenance work
_ Becoming fully trained on the Generation Plant Operation
To succeed in this role you will have a thorough grounding in process control
systems, including experience in PLC, SCADA and DCS systems. You will also have
experience in GE Fanuc and Rockwell Automation hardware and software, industrial
automation and control systems, telecommunications, VSD's and soft starters.
You will need to have a relevant trade qualification, along with considerable
experience in heavy engineering or a generation environment.
Preference will be given to geothermal experience.
